We are pleased to announce that the call for abstracts for 17th EUSPR Conference is now open and will close on 30th April 2026. Outcomes will be sent in June 2026.
The EUSPR 2026 Conference will take place in Dublin, Ireland, from the 16th to the 18th of September 2026, with workshops and project meetings scheduled for the pre-conference day on the 15th of September. The chosen venue is Hotel Riu Plaza The Gresham Dublin.
This year's conference theme “Innovation in Prevention to Support Health Equity” embraces this perspective by acknowledging scientific advances (e.g., regarding technology like AI, novel approaches to personalised prevention) and conceptual innovation (e.g., linking climate and health, one health and planetary health) while being mindful of the risks and chances for equitable prevention for all. In prevention science, an investigation of the foundations of safe and healthy living is paramount, and this can only be achieved by addressing systemic inequities and utilising innovations in a beneficial way.
The conference aims to reflect upon diverse developments, approaches and practices of creating and implementing innovation in prevention research and practice and the consideration of health equity in these processes. Through an open dialogue with decision-, opinion-, and policy-makers, we also aim to illustrate the pipeline from prevention research to practice and discuss the role of relevant policies and their impact on the translation.
We invite you to submit abstracts in line with the conference theme, although submissions on all prevention science related topics are welcome, including discussion papers and theoretical and methodological developments.
PLEASE NOTE that this year, we are using ExOrdo to manage abstract submissions. Follow this link https://euspr2026.exordo.com/ to submit your abstract. Please create your Exordo account from this link and follow the abstract submission instructions provided there. Abstracts that do not adhere to the proposed structure here, or that declare conflict of interests which might affect the objectivity of research by the scientific committee's assessment, may be rejected.
As a member of EUSPR mailing list, today you will receive an invitation to submit your abstract directly from our EUSPR 2026 Exordo platform. We invite you to please forward this information to your network and colleagues.
Please visit the EUSPR website for the latest news.
We are looking forward to seeing you in Dublin!
